My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 began clicking ~2 months ago. The noise is coming from the left front wheel. When it first started it would only click when turning at low speeds, now it has begun to click almost all the time.
It is very loud and typically stops once I reach ~15mph. It has also started clicking when I turn the wheel while stationary. After turning the wheel a few times, however, it begins to fade away/stop.
My initial diagnosis is the CV axle, but I'm still unsure and have struggled to pinpoint it. Attached are 2 YouTube videos of the noise. The daytime video is from 2 months ago, and the nighttime video is from last week.
I have lifted the front end and inspected/shook around every major part and everything appears solid.
What happened it's a CV joints do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty and that sound device can be placed all over the place you can pinpoint it exactly while you're driving and it's actually making the noise often it's hard to figure that out unless the car is loaded weight and you're driving and turning when you put it up in here it won't make any noise at all
