Does your car have the dreaded DSG transmission? If yes, your transmission is breaking down.

Get rid of that VW as soon as you can, because if it breaks, it’s going to cost you a fortune to put in a new transmission.

VW makes horrible DSG transmissions, there’s a class action lawsuit against them.

thanks for the reply mate
my car is 2005 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 Fsi Comfortline 6 Sp Automatic Tiptronic 5d Hatchback

Is it a torque converter AT or dual clutch DSG?

@inthrustwetrust
Stay away from any DSG/DCT transmission! They are not reliable whatsoever!

@inthrustwetrust

That's not really true, some early DSG's had issues but the recent VW DSG's are very reliable if maintained

Either way sell that car man! It seems to be a transmission problem. Better to sell it now than pay up later. Get a toyota or a honda after that.
