Hi Scotty I have a 2006 Ford Mustang V6 5 speed manual transmission just rolled 150000 miles a couple days ago. The car will erratically idle from 900 to up to 2200 rpm when coasting in neutral. This happens even after letting car idle-down after starting in cold or hot weather. When i engage clutch to downshift, rpms will slowly simmer down to normal sometimes even stalling when taking off in 1st gear at stoplight. Or it will sometimes idle cruse at 2200 rpm in 2nd gear with no foot on gas.
