I'm no fan of TPMS and would like to disable it directly, in the car's computer system. via a 'test' tool operated by a mechanic like Scotty.
Do some of those high end scan tools disable this function completely? If not I guess I'll need to ignore it from now on
Acura TL 174,000 (previous owner a female who was fastidious) 2006 model. I bought this car based on Scotty's constant statements about Honda and Toyota quality. Damned if he's not right, completely. Great car, had a fender bender (self inflicted by previous owner, possibly a Driving Miss Daisy moment, no accident reported -- VIN Report-- but car was totaled/salvaged due to absurdly high repair costs, I'm sure). Works great, passed inspection easily, the engine runs smooth and it GOES, best car I ever owned (I am like Scotty and never buy new or even that recent. This is the newest and nicest car I've ever owned). I will soon treat the engine with Lubralon and when I replace the Transmission fluid, I will put in the Lubralon Automatic transmission product as well. Should go to 300,000 without issues.
Help me disable TPMS, I hate those useless idiot lights that alarm for useless electronic features.

Do not add any additive to the ATF and only use Honda Fluid.

Put a piece of electric tape on the light.
