Locked up my vehicle. Return to my vehicle use the key on the driver side. Went to start the vehicle. All you get is one click. I look to my right passenger door is unlocked. No anti-theft indicator on the dashboard. Only thing on the dashboard is to check engine light and airbag. Both of these indicators are solid and not flashing. Battery reads 13. I tried jumping it wouldn't work. There's power to the headlights radio and windows. Nothing was left on. Nothing was left plugged in. Haven't tried putting a new battery in yet though. I have the original coded key for the vehicle. If the anti-theft system was engaged this key should bypass it in the vehicle should start. But everything indicates to the anti-theft system in the vehicle. It is a 2006 Chevy Impala 3.9 police issued. Can't afford the dealership. A friend of mine has a code reader to see if any codes come up and there's nothing.
How old is the battery?
