Hello,
In my search for a new car I have come across a 2006 Ford Focus ZX3 hatchback. It has 90,000 miles on it, and I am considering buying it. It was listed for about $4000 and it looks like a decent deal. Should I go through with buying it, or hold off and look for something else?

Which transmission and trim package?

It is borderline. I just paid $4500 for a 2006 Lexus RX330 with 78K miles. You would be better off with a corolla or camry as they will hold up better over time.
I owned a 2012 Focus and the transmission was terrible. Make sure you get the transmission checked by a reputable mechanic before you buy.

Do not buy it. The transmission on these cars is horrible.
