Hi Scotty, per your advice I am looking at used lexus vehicles since someone hit my murano which had a failing cvt...would you recommend a 2006 IS250 with 200k. I'm in a real pinch here in Houston because this fly by night insurance will barely give me 6k for the nissan which was purchased for 9500 less than 6 months before (which I couldn't drive over 65 without that cvt slipping/overheating and throwing codes.

I really don't wanna do a lot of huge work on whatever vehicle I end up with and love the style of the IS and found one in town non nav for 5999 it's a 2006 over on Richmond and Dunvale with 200k and found one with nav in MI with 160k. Would like to know how reliable these are high mileage.

Also any ppi mechanic recommendations are appreciated.
