I’m looking to buy a 2006 Lexus Rx330 with 140,000 miles on it. Any issues or problems with this year and model I should be aware of and is $6,000 a fair amount to pay for one?

Although that model doesn't appear to have much in the way of serious failure trends, seeing as how that thing is 18 years old you're going to need a good mechanic go over it with a fine-toothed comb to determine whether it's any good. You'll also want to check into any outstanding recalls.

For what it's worth the kbb.com site pegs the private party sale price of that vehicle at about $5500 (range of $4700-$6300). Their prices tend to be on the inflated side.
