Hi Scotty,
I am in need of some serious guidance and HELP! I have a 2006 automatic Nissan Frontier V8 143,000 miles. When I start it up no problem, however , when I drive it for about 5-10 min. It make a clicking noise like a "spinning blackjack wheel" then the instrument board, on driver-side goes dark , like the battery is dead, and the vehicle slows to a dangerous crawl. I say dangerous , because it happens while I'm driving. Then It jerks forward and picks up speed again for about 3 to 5 mins, then does it again. My mechanic , who is really nice by the way, said its a fuse defect that only Nissan can fix, but the recall is expired. I've spoken to Reps at Nissan ,and they tell me they don't have an open recall for this issue. If I could get this fixed , it would be a blessing, I'm getting ready to apply to Nursing school , I can't really afford a new truck and I'm going to need transportation but I cant seem to get any help. I really love My Truck, it was a graduation gift from my Mom, brand new in 2006. I would really appreciate some of your guidance. Your videos are always very interesting and helpful. Sorry for the Long Rant. Its just a lot, and its SUPER frustrating. {black}:tears:
Thanks Kathy
Anything can be fixed. Find a decent mechanic to help you with this. If it is a fuse defect, it can be replaced.
