I have a 99 Mustang Cobra with a rebuilt 2001 Cobra motor in it. It is the DOHC 4.6 with 43 lb injectors and a V2 vortec supercharger. It has the 5-speed manual.
While traveling on the highway particularly in 5th gear, when I depress the clutch, especially as I am exiting on a ramp; instead of idling down normally the engine will go dead. It usually will crank back up okay or sometimes I just mash the clutch downshift a second and pop the clutch and it comes back on. It got worse when I had the O2 sensor line remounted and the exhaust system remounted as well.
Unfortunately you have so many modifications on that car there's no saying what could be wrong. Oxygen sensors are part of a complex feedback system and you start modifying the system there's no saying the software is even going to be correct for it. y find a guy accustomed tunes stangs
