Hello Scotty my brothers 06 camry with 250k miles takes a while on cold startup but it does start on the first try and also its getting bad gas mileage. Is it time we change the fuel injectors? Or is the fuel filter bad? The battery is new, the alternator is new, the starter is original. We checked with an obd scanner and we couldn't find any codes.

Not worth much, try a tune up, drive it until it becomes to expensive to fix.

We did a tune up as well. We changed all the spark plugs, replaced all the fluids , replaced the air filter and stuffs like that. I think its the fuel injectors or the fuel pump or the fuel filter.

Have you cleaned the MAF sensor? I do it regularly. Cheap and easy maintenance item

Yea my brother has cleaned those few months ago. He did not clean the throttle body. Should he clean the throttle body?
