Hey Scotty I’m a college student who lives in upper New York. Do you think an automatic 2006 Toyota Matrix XR with 76,000 miles and a dealership price of $5,500 would be a first good car? Thanks a bunch Mr.Celica 🙂

It can be a good car with 1.8 liter engine, but here are two things to mention:
1- Make sure that the mileage is legitimate. You should have a positive absolute proof for that, especially considering the fact that car is sold by a dealer.
2- The price is high, but in this market nothing seems to makes sense. Try to lower the price.
And as always, have your mechanic check it before buying it.
