2007 Camry Burning Oil

Topic starter

Hey Scotty! I've got a 2007 Camry with 200k on it and it's burning about a quart every 1000 or more.
I know they had a campaign for the pistons but mine missed the Toyota fix. Just curious if I should replace the pistons or try and clean it up.
I'd love to hear your thoughts

Forgot to mention Ive had it since 2012 and purchased it from a private dealer with 75k on it. I've put a lot of miles on it myself with regular oil changes.

You don't just replace pistons. You have to rebuild the engine, which isn't worth it on an older high mileage vehicle. It is FAR cheaper to just keep putting oil in it.
