2007 F-150 5.4L Ticking Then Now Shaking

Scotty, I have a 2007 F-150 with the infamous 5.4L 3-valve Triton V8. I took it to my mechanic for a constant ticking noise coming from the engine, but the drivability was fine with no check engine light present. My mechanic did not want to mess with it and told me to go to the Ford dealer. I have been meticulous with changing the oil every 3k miles.  I got the truck back today and now the check engine light is on, and the truck is obviously shaking rough. It has 183,000 miles on it and has given me very little trouble up to this point. What do you think the issue could be? Mechanic mentioned maybe a rocker arm fell off of it. I have an appointment today at a Ford dealership. Thanks for your advice and videos!

Many things can cause an engine to run rough and there is not much detail to go on here. There's a good chance there is internal engine damage - those engines are notorious. It would be helpful though if you would post the code or codes that triggered the Check Engine light.
