Hope someone can help, I believe I saw Scotty recommend something for small leaks in an aluminum block. I have been searching for three days and have found videos about Steel Seal for head gaskets and Barrs Leak for radiators, but I cannot find one for this problem.
I remember he said it will only work on small leaks, and he has used it for many years.
ANY help would be appreciated!
2007 Honda Civic LX Of course it has a cracked block and leaks antifreeze after it gets warmed up
Known problem with that generation of Civic. Honda has a recall on it and will replace the engine block for free.
I don't remember the terms of the recall. It might be lifetime but check online or with a dealer. You might still be eligible for it.
Well you can try the bars leak the fancy one they sell at AutoZone for engine block leaks but those are aluminum blocks and a lot of times you can't fix them
Thank You
I really appreciate the quick answer. I will go to Auto Zone today! 🙂
It has worked so far, absolutely zero leaks, has saved my wife's car! Since the fix we have been putting 400 miles a week on the car and NO overheating! I check it every month and have topped it off with 1 pint total. approx. 2,400 miles
Thanks Scotty and all the others who answered!

I've heard of people fixing small external cracks in cast iron engine blocks with JB Weld. No idea if it would work with aluminum but you have nothing to lose.
