- Hi, I am vehicle shopping for a used SUV, I need some help with that.
- I have watched some of your videos, and I’m still unsure of which would be my best option.
- I’m currently driving a 2007 Honda CR-V EX with 221,000 km on it, and have done thousands of dollars of updates on it, and I’m looking to sell it and move into something a bit newer.
- I’m looking for something that would be decent on fuel consumption, and also have decent room.
- I’ve looked at some Chevy equinox, some GMC trains, a 2009 Honda Acura MDX that has just under 200,000 km on it, add a 2015 GMC train, 2015 Chevy equinox with a 2.4 L engine in it that has 160,000 km on it presently owned by a professional mechanic, and I’m also looking at a 2013 jeep grand Cherokee, that I think has a V6 in it.
- I like the GMC train, and also the equinox, but I’ve heard that their engines don’t last, so that scares me, so then I’m wondering what you would recommend would be my best option to buy a used SUV.
- I’m looking at making a purchase this coming Tuesday, if you could get back to me to share your thoughts with me, that would be appreciated.
- You can also text me or give me a call on my cell phone, please see my cell cell phone number below, and the best time to call me is after lunch Manitoba Canada time.
- [personal contact information redacted]
- Thank you
-

- Please do not post personal information here. It is a very bad idea on any public forum.
- No one from here is going to call you or text you, after lunch or any other time.
- Your cell phone number has been deleted.
- If anyone should contact you claiming to be Scotty, or from this site, via your cell phone it would be fraudulent and you should not engage.
- For questions posted here all contact is through this site only.

No SUV is best for fuel economy. Why sell your current Honda SUV; 200,000km is nothing for a cared for Honda! Honda produce excellent engines. I would only recommend a Honda or a Toyota. I drive an 06’ CRV always has fresh fluids, drives V.nice 190,000km will hopefully get 800,000km or the million km?
I probably could downsize to a Honda civic for better economy.
stay away from V6: costly repairs + worse fuel economy

Personally I would run it until the wheels fall off

Avoid the Chevys like the plague. Scotty isn't your personal assistant, so you'll need to watch this page for replies.
