Honda Accord 2.4L Longevity Question

Hello, I have a 2016 Honda Accord LX with the 2.4L N/A engine & CVT, my car currently has 205,000 miles on it and it's been relatively trouble free the last couple years I have had it, bought it with about 185,000 miles back then. I'm just curious about what the general longevity on these cars are, when maintenance items will start to show up and will need fixing and if it could last another 3-5+ years from now or not. Thanks!

Well, those engines come last basically forever. It's the cvt transmission. That's the weak point. So it depends on how that is holding up. You might want to have a mechanic like me road tested and analyze the CVT data to see what shape it's in

The 2.4L is a relatively resilient engine. Just take care of it.

And especially take care of the transmission. That thing needs some more TLC than a traditional automatic transmission.
