- I have a 07 Lexus is250 awd with around 170950k miles. I bought it used a few days ago everything seems to be running smoothly expected for a few minor things. When going at low speeds the trans might stutter a little. And at start up / crank up you will hear a weird gargle sound. Just wanted to know if it’s anything I should worry about and I also was wondering what is some maintenance I should immediately do. And should I flush the transmission?

Do you have any CEL?
I would take the car to a good mechanic to fully inspect it (you should have done it before purchase).
And should I flush the transmission?
No. With that mileage, it is not a good idea. The mileage is pretty high, the drain and fluid might be your best bet if the fluid condition allows it.
