Hi Scotty I'm looking at a used 4 door 2007 Tacoma Trd Sport. I live in Atlantic Canada and its got 340000km. The frame was not replaced and the owner did have to get a rust hole welded. Otherwise the frame is decent. He wants $7700 US. everything else works except the abs and cruise control are broken. Is this a good deal at that price? how much would you offer?

for that amount of milage and the issues that is too much. if you live near the border pick one up from USA, and since I live about 6 hours from Canada, the ones that are sold in my area have around 200k miles for about 4-6 grand USD with nothing wrong. but if you don't feel like dealing with paperwork and crossing country borders during covid I totally understand if you don't want to do that but don't pay too much for it

Find out first that you can replace the frame for free. Then or may be an oOK deal but otherwise run away.

U$7,700, … seriously? Why U$? You are in Canada, right?

Anyway, … I assume it’s an East Coast truck, … hence a rust bucket through and trough, by definition: … body, frame, brackets, bolts and nuts, … u-clamps and springs. Wiring and electrical parts, too. Are you sure you want to spend C$10,000 on this pile of iron oxide?

… just askin’.

I own a 2005 with 214K, since new.  Your's probably had qualified for a frame replacement, too bad the previous owner  did not take advantage of it.

If it's solid and everything runs good, that's a pretty good price.  This other poster stating they sell for 4-6K in the US does not know what he's talking about, dont listen to him. Look  them up on Autotrader in the US and people are asking well above 10K with 200K miles, sounds crazy but it is what it is
