Hi Scotty, my low mileage automatic Tundra has a strange shift into first when coming to a stop. It seems delayed and then it thuds after a few seconds. Only one forum I've found mentions this about the 07 / 08 Tundras and calls it a shifting "characteristic". Love the truck but this intermittent thud has me concerned. Should I keep the truck or am I facing some potential problems? Always appreciate the videos.

Are you sure it's shifting, and not a binding slip yoke? I would grease it and see if the clunk goes away.
Don't forget to service your transmission and lube the driveshaft like the manual says.

Thank you. I'll have to look into those to see if it's an easy fix.
