- I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra. I bought it about 2 months ago and haven't had any problems with it. I start it up to drive home the other day and the check engine light comes in. I get on the highway and start to speed up and it won't change gears and I start to notice a smell the same time this happens. I instantly pull over and check the Code. It was P2757. Is this a common problem with these transmissions?

Probably due to the fluid and filter not being changed. Check the condition of the trans fluid. I'll bet it's filthy. Should be done every 50K miles.
Probably so. I will check the solenoid while I have the pan off. If it's not the solenoid or the fluid then I don't know what it could be.
