Scotty,
I have a 2010 two wheel drive Tundra with 230k miles on it. It will shudder sometimes, especially at low, (under 50), speeds. I let off the gas , it catches and all is good until the next shudder. Sometimes every 5 to 20 minutes. I took it to a trans shop and they want 2k to replace the TC. As a side note the original engine lost the tensioner bearing and over heated on a trip (thanks brother in law) The used block i bought and had installed has run smoothly. The trans shudder existed before the engine replacement.
Any suggestions? Thanks

That's an awful lot of money to spend on a 13yo truck with high mileage. I wouldn't do it. I'd put that money towards a replacement vehicle.
