My 2008 acura TL has rough idle and stalls when the ac is turned on and engine is running idle. the check engine light blinks below 1500rpm but becomes stable when car is in motion above 1500rpm; starts blinking when speed reduces to to about 20mph below 1500rpm

have not tried a vacum leak test because the obd codes doesnt suggest that

vacuum leaks are a very common cause of misfires.

Anything that affects the combustion process can cause misfiring.

I will try that asap, I also do not have an air filter in my intake manifold

air filters don't belong in the manifold but I certainly hope you have one in the engine intake air cleaner box.

@mountainmajoe, my car came fitted with an aftermarket 3.7 intake manifold and doesn't have an air filter box. I only need to attach a filter to the manifold

I highly doubt that, but if in fact you do have dirty air going into your MAF sensor then that would explain your misfiring. Throw the aftermarket stuff in the trash where it belongs.

Blinking check engine light means "serious problem, stop driving!". What codes did you find when you scanned it?

p0301, p0305 misfire codes. check engine light only blinks when idle or on very low rpm below 1500rpm

You need to troubleshoot what's going in in those cylinders (#1 and #5).

yes I used OEM parts but have not tried a vacum leak test because the obd codes doesnt suggest that even though it crossed my mind

The codes do suggest that because those are misfire codes and a vacuum leak can cause a misfire. As @mmj has already pointed out, anything that interferes with normal combustion will cause misfire codes. This also includes things like clogged or leaky fuel injectors, compression problems, and computer or electrical problems.

i changed the spark plugs, the ignition coils and fuel pump already

Did you use OEM coils and fuel pump? What does your live data look like (fuel trims, etc.)? In particular have you recorded live data while the misfires are happening for analysis? Any vacuum leaks?
