Replacement transmission slipping

I have a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria LX (civilian & been in the family since new) with 215k miles on it. I replaced the transmission 20k miles ago because the car would slip between gears (to clarify, it had no issue shifting up when accelerating from 0-70 but it would refuse to reengage gear after coasting at low speeds.) It got so bad that it would take about 10 seconds to reengage in drive. This would happen mostly in stop and go traffic, and when turning at intersections. I’m now on my 2nd transmission and it’s starting to fail the exact same way.

Where did the replacement transmission come from? (Factory remanufactured? Shop rebuilt? Used?) Is there a warranty on it?
