i have 2008 honda civic
here is my story: about 2 years ago my engine block cracked on my honda. the car only had 60k miles when it happen, it was never low on coolant or any other fluids. when this happen my warranty has expired and i couldn't have it fixed for free. it turns out that this style Honda was making bad engine blocks between 2006-2009. so i have did some research and turns out that at 2010 the problem might been fixed. i tried using jb weld and it holds for while then starts to leak. i have used k-seal and blue devil but it ended up clogging my heater core so i had to flush everything out.
So every 6 months i apply new jb weld and it holds good for while. i have seen one of your videos about the seal and i wanted to know if there is something that you recombed for me to try. the coolant leaks on outside. there for few videos that i have found on you tube that people have same problem with this Honda. i have made over 20k miles since that happened, i check my coolant daily and add as needed. everytime when i apply jb weld i have hard time getting all the coolant out of engine block, so its always wet and the product dont seal so well.
My question today is what do you think i should used or at least make it so it doesnt leak. thanks and happy holidays.
What a PITA. Get rid of it.
Did you ever find another solution that worked better than JB Weld? Obviously welding or block replacement would be better, but I'm talking about quick-fix remedies.

that persona hasn't visited the forum in 3 years. I don't think he's going to answer you.
Please post a new question and make sure include the full details in the instructions.
If you have a crack or hole in your block , it wouldn't hurt to post a photo of that too.
Thanks.
