Hi Scotty,
My 2008 Honda CRV with 178,000 miles recently has been having some issues with the Tailgate and rear drivers side door. The drivers side rear door and tailgate all of a sudden will not open, even from inside the car. I was wondering what are some ways to help trouble shoot the problem. Would both actuators fail simultaneously?

Yes. You'll need to remove the door panels to get to the mechanism. If electrically operated (you didn't say) check your fuses too.
