Hello Scotty

My name is Vanessa Rose u answered my question on YouTube I have a 2008 Lexus ES 350 I bought it used 3 years ago and it’s an automatic I have the codes but I’ll have to redo the scan again let me know if u need them I changed out the anti freeze resovoir so it’s new with no “leaks” supposedly I changed out my radiator and the car still leaks I did a test on it with this fluid thing and I don’t think I did it right cuz it still stayed the same color so I’m assuming now it’s probably the head gasket I’m having no other issues with car

also I have another question I live in an area where places are close by I’ve noticed that it takes about 20 min for the car to overheat is it still safe to drive short distances? For example I need to help my mother buy groceries

Thank u Scotty for your time and patience on reading my car issue I really do appreciate it

Ahhh what be the codes? For the first part. Define leaks. Do you actually see coolant on the floor? Cause if so it's probably not the head gasket. By I changed do you actually mean you changed it out yourself? Or someone/a mechanic helped out? New rad and new coolant tank, but have you check say thermostat? Do the fans kick on when the car gets too hot? As for your last question. Yes it is doable. Be safe about it. Be really careful as constant overheating can cause serious damage.
