My dad is going to give me the title of his mustang soon and it has 97k miles on it. He didn't maintain it that well but it still runs good. I want to change a lot of fluids and filters out. Should I change the transmission fluid and filter on it or is it too late?

I would change the transmission fluid and filter don't flush it just drop the pan

It's ok to do a drain and fill on it.
