2009 Honda CRV 2.4 auto Cat removal

Hi Scotty, Are there negative side effects whenremoving the CAT from my 2009 CRV 2.4 RSVi A/T. I am in South Africa> I straight piped an 1997 CRV AT and it did improve gas milage and response. TIA
