A short while ago, I did some work on my mother-in-law's 2009 Honda CRV LX. One of the things I fixed was she had two out of the three brake lights out so I decided to replace them with some LED brake lights so they would last longer. The LED brake lights worked great on my personal 2010 Honda CRV however my mother-in-law reported that shortly after I replaced the brake lights, the entire passenger side exterior and interior lights are not working. I have not seen the vehicle yet but I was wondering if a fuse possibly blew? If that is the case, could I just replace the faulty fuse by checking for continuity with a multimeter, replace the LED brake lights with normal halogen bulbs and that will fix it? Also, does anyone know any good websites that show wiring/fuse diagrams? Thank you!
Well I use all data DIY for wiring diagram and just you have to pay for it but it's only 20 something bucks last on my check for a whole year. Realize that systems aren't as simple as they are. Even something simple to break like uses a computer module to help activate it. Hopefully it didn't mess with the computer module. That's why I often advise not to use LED lights and normal systems kind of screw them up. I've seen them blow modules if you didn't put the right resistor in line for the LEDs
