Hello, I just bought a 2010 Acura RDX Turbo last month and so far has been a dream to drive compared to my old Subaru.
the RDX has 190,150km on it and I’ve noticed the transmission has the tendency to act up occasionally.
whenever I come to a stop/ slow down, the downshift from 2nd to 1st gear makes a very very slight but noticeable clunk. But this only happens when I’m harder on the brakes. When I slow down a lot more gradually, it downshifts buttery smooth. The up shift from 1st to 2nd never gives any trouble either.
Any idea why it’s more noticeable when I slow down quicker?
Well because it's slightly worn and when you slow down quicker that makes it have a little more stress on it I would live with that but you might change the fluid and pray that helps a little
