On my 2010 crown Vic p7b/p71 it started to not have turn signals work, odometer, and fan motor not work. Randomly started happening after u started it up one of the times. I figured out it was a fuse I had to remove and put back in (I don’t remember the fuse number I’ll add it in a comment in a little bit). But almost every time I have to start it I have to remove the fuse and put it back in then I can start it (I’ll add a video in a little bit). But the fuse isn’t blown idk why it’s doing this. I’ll add it’s a bit cold out but it doesn’t make sense. I recently (about a month ago) took the dash apart to fix the odometer but I dont think that’s the issue. If you want to know ut has 134,xxx miles on it so if that helps you tell what’s wrong. It’s bone stock other than a new radio (again did that about a month ago). I’m adding the fuse number and a video later but other than that you will have to ask for more.
Fuse 2
By fan motor I meant blower motor if anyone got confused by that.
When the odometer isn't working does it display dashes instead of numbers?
No nothing at all
Well when things don't work and all you do is remove a fuse that is not blown and put it back in. You just resetting a computer module. So odds are you have a computer module problem and realize there are many computer modules on modern cars but often that is the body control module
I think it may have just been the fuse couldn't connect all the way this happened twice and every time I would pull the fuse and put it back in. It hasn't happened since but I'll keep an eye on it. I should be getting access to one of those "fancy" scan tools sometime soon so I'll be able to look and see if anything has any trouble codes. Thanks for your help.
