Hello! I have a 2010 Dodge Journey with the 3.5L V6 engine it has 136k miles on it . Sometimes when I try to start it it wouldn’t start and I’ll have to try starting it multiple times before it actually starts running, when it doesn’t run, putting it on Neutral makes it start, what could that be? It just turns on the electric stuff in the car works but the engine itself doesn’t.

Often a week fuel pump will do that have it pressure tested but they aren't cheap and if it always ends up starting what the heck you could live with it. And sometimes it's a simple as a bad fuel pump relay which can just be plugged in and out with a new one
