I have a 2010 Expedition and the front driver and passenger seats are the most uncomfortable things ever. They also don't go low enough in my opinion making it feel like your sitting above the console. Rest of the car is solid. Can you put a late model Expedition seat in these older model vehicles? Say 2018-2020, since they changed the style then.

Beside the size and design differences, the front passenger seat has airbag computer integrated into the seat which can vary based on the model year. You need to make sure that the system is compatible with your car. Avoiding the compatibility will result in malfunctioning the airbag system on the passenger side.
