Hey Scotty,

i went to a mechanic shop because my brakes had been sinking to the floor and was told it was the brake master hose that was leaking. I ended buying the part which was an entire assembly and was referred to another mechanic shop because they said they didn’t get involved with electronics. They ended up replacing the part for $700 but still have the same problem. They told me it could be the brake master cylinder but it would cost 350 to do the work because they said they needed a computer tool. Is it the brake master cylinder? If so, do i need a special computer tool to do it? Or can I do it myself?

Well you wouldn't need a special scan tool to bleed the brakes out but any mechanic has that I would go to a different mechanic and see what they charge

@scottykilmer i have the same question. As then I still need the computer. And i'm gonna learn how to do this myself

Scotty doesn't answer follow-up questions. Also, please don't highjack someone else's post. We don't know a thing about your car.

We require the year, make, model, engine size, transmission type and the number of miles on the car to be able to help you.

Thanks.
