Hey Scotty,
I live in Ontario, Canada and I got a 2010 Mazda CX-7 (2.5L fwd non-turbo) automatic with 132,000 miles. I bought the car new and the car has driven well. In recent years I've had to put some money into it for maintenance and regular wear/tear. In the past 2 years, I had all struts/shocks replaced, all brakes/rotors replaced, and the passenger motor mount, alternator, and serpentine belt replaced. At around 35,000 miles the dealer did a transmission oil change. Since then, I have not done anything to the transmission but so far it works great. I checked the transmission oil and it is a bit dirty. It still has very little of its pink color and transparency still. What do I do? Should I take it to a transmission specialist? I want to keep the car and transmission running long as possible but I know it's too late to get a transmission oil change/flush done.
The only maintenance would be changing fluid and filter. See the FAQ section on changing transmission fluid for information.
