Hi,
I've been eyeing a third generation Avalon for a while to replace my 2007 Grand Marquis and came across a 2011 Avalon which was one-owner, low miles, well-maintained, and a great price. Took it for a long test drive and had my mechanic give it once over. I passed on it. Why? Well, despite that generation being compared to the full size cars such as the GM in ride and comfort, I cannot say I noticed this. It is essentially a slightly longer and wider Camry and does ride smoother than my brother's 16 Camry. Nothing in comparison though to any Panther platform I've ever owned and driven regularly. I guess I've been spoiled in that regard. Thanks
So not sure if this is a question or just stating your opinion, but based on the title yes buy it. If it's a good price, and your mechanic has checked it and given the green light buy it. It's a good quality car, and yes the Avalon is supposed to be a the next size up compared to the Camry.
