2011 Chevy Cruze

Hi Scotty!

My 2011 eco trim chevy cruze is making a clicking noise after the car turns off. It's coming from the engine bay, and I'm thinking it might be the turbo or the engine itself. The car has 135,500 miles with a manual transmission, and the oil has just been changed.

It is also throwing codes for the ABS system and traction control. Have you seen these issues before in Chevy's and is it something fixable or is the car on it's last legs?

Thank you!

Kris

Are the codes coming up or is the lights being lid up on the dashboard? If you have the Service Traction Control light on, it can sometimes be this stupid sensor in the wheel hubs. This car is pretty cheap to fix but become money pits. My 2013 Cruze LTZ currently has 218K miles and had to replace the turbo at 197K miles and the engine at 193K miles. If taken care of correctly, they can be good cars

@hungirl77
i had 2 checy cruze with all kinds of problems. bought it directly from the dealership. those are junk cars they will break down no matter what you do. if you hear clicking noise try to use a cellphone and record different parts to find out where that noise is coming from, that will tell you

Well knowing cruises it's on its last legs anyway. But with heat and you shut off cars you'll often get metallic cool down noises I would just live with that what day your transmission will break and then you would junk Le Car
