2011 Dodge Durango Heat 3.6 AWD
Hi Scotty,
I have a 2011 Dodge Durango AWD with the 3.6 it has 181,000 miles on it but is constantly nickel and dimming me. We bought the car with 30,000 miles on it about 7 years ago. Within those 7 years we have stuck about $5 to 6k into it just to keep it on the road. My wife and I live in Northern Wisconsin and travel 45 minutes one way to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for work 5 days a week. We are in the market to purchase a new car but are looking at something that is FWD and has better gas mileage. Recently the Durango has threw a few more codes:
P2096 POST CATALYST FUEL TRIM
P0137 OXYGEN SENSOR LOW VOLTAGE
P0171 LEAN
P01130 OXYGEN SENSOR CIRCUIT
So my question is would keep putting the money in to fix these problems and hopefully use it as a winter vehicle or Trade it towards the new car?
Thanks
BILL
or Trade it towards the new car?

Get rid of that clunker asap and look for a good used Toyota or Honda..
Here is everything you need to know about your codes:

Check with a Mopar mechanic before doing anything. You didn't mention the condition of the engine or transmission (if it's on it's way out or if still has some life). If the total repair of of what needs to be replaced is less than $1,000, keep the car.
Get rid of it ASAP, it's only going to get worse.
