Hey Scotty, congrats on the new site!
I have a 2011 Nissan Frontier PRO4x manual transmission with 160K. The engine started making ticking noises but only going up steep hills slowly. I can't make it happen otherwise. If I depress the clutch the noise goes away. If I shift to a lower gear the noise goes away. I first noticed it when I was in 3rd but should have been in 2nd going up a hill ( I live in the mountains). The dealer doesn't know what the problem is. They replaced "a spring" in the clutch but the noise is still happening on hills. Any idea what this could be?

I would have to hear the noise but since you're not near me watch my video finding the source of car noises and that machine will pinpoint it
