Our Air conditioning heating works but the cooling does not get cold. I took it to get looked at but this is what they wrote on what they found. “Discharge line leaking. Part is discontinued from dealer and not available aftermarket. Discharge line is a manifold assembly with discharge and suction line.” I’m wondering if this is something I can fix myself if I find the parts myself?

What mechanic you brought your car to? The part can be found easily or even bought new at Autozone or Advance Auto Parts.

Find another mechanic.
My 2011 fusion has the same problem. I have found that when I turn the dial halfway between the cold and lukewarm with the air on and it comes out pretty cold.
