The OEM oil filter for my 2012 Scion XB (2AZ-FE engine) is a bit longer than the Mobil 1 filter I bought at O’Reilly. Should I stick to the OEM filter or can I use the one I bought? Many stores claim that the Mobil 1 filter fits.

Just ask the parts counter they have it on their system use mobil 1 bosch, etc NOT fram

I think you can use it, if it fits.

Should be fine as long as your good on maintanence
