Should I buy this SUV from cargurus

Question

Hey everyone. I and contemplating buying a 2012 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 170K. 0 codes on the engine, no mechanical issue at all, all features work, rust free, 170K miles. Immaculate condition. All service records are available, oil change every 4k miles. Only thing the two mechanics who inspected it noticed was a coolant leak. I asked for a pressure test and that proved the leak was there but the Toyota mechanic said it wasn't active. This is the only issue, noted by the two independent mechanics.

All of the mechanics said it would be hard to pinpoint the leak. As in they believe it's either the intake gasket or the head gasket.

Yeah, that changes everything. There shouldn’t be a head gasket failure on those if it was meticulously taken care of and never overheated. Did the mechanics perform a head gasket test? It doesn’t seem like it. (you can do a search on Scotty’s YouTube channel for how to perform a test for a blown head gasket)

I also feel those mechanics were not thorough enough. They ended on a hunch/guess but didn’t validate that hunch/guess. I would run away from a mechanic like that, as well.
