Should i’d buy a 2013 Ford escape with 195,000 miles with a clean title
Not unless you can get it for $3000
Ford+small vehicle (SUV)+9 years old+190k miles+first year of generation doesn't sound like a good purchase
Those things have infotainment issues, its no secret.
Those things had 2 recalls for them simply catching on fire. Don't worry though Ford had a solution: park your car and don't drive it, so you don't have to have your car catch on fire when you are in it, rather its a better compromise to have your house burn down.
Then, another recall came about the engines with leaks and all that stuff.
I'd avoid this vehicle at all costs.
How much are they asking for it because that is worth nothing with that many miles. If you can get it for practically nothing then sure go ahead but don't pay much for it.
4,300
No way that is far too much for that thing, it will not be long before it will leave you high and dry.
How much is the seller asking? If you're thinking of that as a daily driver, I would pass unless you're getting it for next to nothing. Then, you don't have much to lose. Those Escapes have engine problems as they age and that's a lot of miles for an Escape (even though it has to be mostly highway) - it's likely at the very end of its life. Try looking for a Toyota Rav4 or Mazda CX-5, they're much better.
4,300
Ya I would pass on that one.
Don't buy for $4,300. It doesn't last as long as Toyota or Honda.
At that high mileage coupled with the fact it is the first year of that generation I would pass on it, esp. if it came with the Ecoboost engine (you didn’t say which engine).
