Hi Guys, I saw Scotty recommend a product called AT-205 ATP RE-SEAL LEAK STOPPER. My wife's 2013 Opel Astra Turbo with 100,000 klms.(approx 62,000 miles) has just developed a very slight oil weep from the rear main seal. Our mechanic said it is very slight, and only noticed it this week during a scheduled service. Would using this product AT-205 ATP RE-SEAL LEAK STOPPER, right now, be safe to use on a Turbo charged engine, the oil was changed 3 days ago. Can it simply be poured into the engine and driven daily? Any insight would be of great help.
It's safe to use but may not do anything, or might help temporarily depending on why the seal is leaking. Since your seal is only weeping a little bit you might have success, nothing to lose but the cost of the product.
