Hello Scotty love the channel before I got out of the military I bought a 2014 Ford Focus SE 32,389 miles for just under 8,000 dollars. The woman I bought it off of was older she was a dentist it was her husbands car he died and she got the rights to it the Carfaxs states it had the transmission worked on during the open recall did I make a mistake purchasing this vehicle?

Well realize that Ford is actually buying back some of the focuses they will give you an offer they have to it's law now and if you can get back what you paid or more do it otherwise take care with it and live it they generally don't fall apart till they get near 100,000 miles or more they're horrible transmission

I did see that video but only after the fact I purchased it. The lady who owned it was a older woman didn’t drive much and I don’t dog my engine I take care of my cars my 99 Passat lasted me until 311,000 miles and my friend is still driving it

Think of the money you spent as the equivalent of a 36 month lease.
So, if it's still running after 36 months, you have beaten anyone with a lease, got lower insurance costs - and still own the car to boot.
