My fiance has now brought her 2015 Ford Focus SE hatchback to the Ford dealer under recall for transmission 5 times now. They were supposed to fix the transmission problem but never did. Just last night driving home, the car was shaking,not accelerating correctly, and the transmission was not working correctly. Any solutions?
I've had the transmission replaced by Ford once on my 15 Focus SE sedan. The only solution I have found is just to take it easy when you drive. I got about 80,000 miles out of my first transmission, and now my second one is going out at 120,000 because my daughter has been driving it hard in the city to and from college.
There's no solution. Get rid of the thing once the transmission blows up. It's a shame that Ford did this to me and many others but there isn't a great solution other than dumping money into it.
