2014 Honda Civic EXL No engine light. I do have a blue tooth scanning tool, one that you had recommended a few years ago but I have not tried as there is no engine light thrown. The car starts fine and idles perfectly until I place the CVT in gear; a vibration from the passenger side of the engine starts and will persist until I start to accelerate a bit. After driving for a few minutes the vibration stops. I have a couple short videos of the engine running and me applying a little pressure to the accelerator while holding the brake pedal on. I have a couple videos of the engine and the vibrating sound but I don't see a way to attach to this submission. I suspect either the motor mount, alternator bearings or maybe lifters. What do you think.
Your suggestion as to what may be causing this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Karl Shaffer

That doesn't mean there are no codes.

@imperator No vibration in neutral or in park. Once I figure out how to upload to Youtube, the video will be worth a few thousand words.
if not I would grab a mechanics stethoscope and find it that way. temporarily removing the accessory belt can help narrow it down.
@imperator That is the bolt used to remove tension from the serpentine belt for removal and installation. My wife noted that as well but it doesn't vibrate when its in neutral so I didn't suspect anything related to the serpentine belt path, though I may be wrong. As for the motor mount, that was actually my first thought when this started a couple months ago. I had the passenger side off once when I replaced the water pump and tensioner pulleys for the serpentine belt. These are a pain to tell if they are bad as they aren't like the old 8 cylinders where the whole engine would lift up and it was easy to see the the robber had clearly torn away for the metal. I may have to remove it and have a closer inspection... I think it's supposed to get above freezing today so I'll likely give it a try.
@imperator I removed the passenger side motor mount as I suspected at least that one is bad and that is where all the vibration is emanating from. Most of the failed motor mounts I've ever seen have the rubber fully disconnected but I believe this one is toast just not completely ripped through. Here's a link to the video of the movement of the mount when removed. I'm going to replace this and have a look at the rear mount as that's somewhat easy to get to., I'll post a video of it once I have it off.
