Hello. M 2014 CRV has been making this rattling noise for some time now and it's driving me crazy. I've been told that it's the heat shield and I've seen it as the belt tensioner too. Does anyone have a more definitive answer and if this is the case, is it something that is bad to drive with and how do you fix it?

VTEC Actuator was replaced about 2 years ago.
Some video info:
1.) Cold start
2.) The noise always intensifies when I first put it into reverse and then back into drive, when it's the loudest.
3.) Noise goes away after lengthy driving, but I always hear it at low speeds/parking.

Remove the belt and see if the noise stops. Check all the pulleys as well.
