Scotty, what do you think GMC Sierra 1500 ?
Scotty has stated quite a few times that GM's light-duty trucks are poorly made, that the only really good ones are the heavy duty models such as the 2500.
Stay away from GM trucks except for the heavy duty series (2500 and higher). The 1500 series ones before model year 2007 were much better made, but I presume you are asking about the newer 1500 series.
It can be a decent truck if you can find a good old one (before 2000).
2006 or earlier were really well built, but old now. If over 100k closely look at the transmission. The new ones aren't as bad as everyone here says. My brother & neighbor have new ones (17 & 19), no issues. Only get a V8, and avoid cylinder deactivation. Next time try to make your title more descriptive.
How do you avoid C.D.? 6.0L?
